You can transfer your remaining MetroCard balance to an OMNY card at MTA Customer Service Centers located in select stations.
You can pay your fare instantly by tapping any contactless credit/debit card or a digital wallet on your smartphone or wearable device.
When you use the same card or device, you automatically receive free rides for the rest of a 7-day period after your 12th paid trip (a $35 total spend).
