Clean Uninstall - Chrome

Tap > Delete App . This automatically removes all local app data. ⚠️ Important Considerations

Open > Apps > Installed Apps (or Apps & features ) ( Google Support ). Locate Google Chrome and click Uninstall . Clean Uninstall Chrome

A clean uninstall of Google Chrome removes the application along with all hidden data, such as cached files, browsing history, and locally stored user profiles. This is often necessary to resolve persistent crashes or sync issues. 🖥️ Windows (10 & 11) 1. Close All Chrome Processes Ensure Chrome is not running in the background: Tap > Delete App

Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open ( Microsoft Tech Community ). Locate Google Chrome and click Uninstall

To clear data on pre-installed versions: Tap > Manage Space > Clear All Data . iOS (iPhone/iPad) Long-press the Chrome icon on your home screen.

: If you want to keep your bookmarks and passwords, ensure you are signed into your Google Account before uninstalling so they are backed up to the cloud.

Paste ~/Library/Application Support/Google/ and press . Right-click the Chrome folder and select Move to Trash . Repeat the process for: ~/Library/Caches/Google/Chrome/ Empty the Trash to finish. 📱 Mobile (Android & iOS) Open Settings > Apps > Chrome . Tap Disable (if Chrome was pre-installed) or Uninstall .
