The game featured a beautiful but dangerous alien landscape, with a dynamic weather system known as "The Cycle"—a storm that periodically wiped the map, forcing players to extract before it arrived.

Players worked for three different factions, increasing their reputation to gain access to better gear, weapons, and higher-tier upgrades for their hub station (the Prospect Station). The game featured a beautiful but dangerous alien

The Cycle: Frontier was a free-to-play, high-stakes PvPvE extraction shooter developed by Yager Development. Set on the dangerous alien planet of Fortuna III, the game focused on survival, looting, and successful extraction while navigating hostile environmental threats and other player "Prospectors".
