Unlike standard combos, Blade Mode gives you direct control over the angle and horizontal/vertical direction of every cut using the right analog stick or mouse.
You can use the mode to strategically remove specific limbs, such as a heavy weapon arm or a leg, to neutralize an enemy's mobility and attack options.
This is the most critical sub-feature. While in Blade Mode, you can target a specific "critical kill" red box on an enemy's body. Successfully slicing this spot allows you to rip out the enemy's electrolyte-filled spinal cord, which instantly and fully restores your health and energy.
