Once you have the extracted file, the update process is generally straightforward:
Plug the USB into your receiver and press the Menu button on your remote.
Updating the software using the USB flash drive (USB Update)
Ensure the file extension is correct for your device (often .bin ). If the receiver doesn't see the file, try a different USB port or a different flash drive.
