I’ve been focusing on building more depth using only hatching and cross-hatching, rather than relying on solid blacks. It’s definitely a challenge to keep the contrast high without overworking the paper, but I’m really happy with how the textures turned out—especially on the [mention a specific detail, like "the character's cloak" or "the rocky background"].

Inktober is always such a great way to push past that "blank page" fear and just get something down every day.
