Check the box in the property manager. If the surfaces perfectly enclose a space, SOLIDWORKS will automatically convert it into a single solid body.
: If your solid is already modeled but needs to be recognized as a sheet metal feature, use the Convert to Sheet Metal tool. Select the base face. Specify sheet thickness and bend radius. Select edges for the bends. Troubleshooting sc24855-SFCOE.rar
: If a solid fails to form, your surfaces may have small gaps or "naked edges." Use the Check tool (under Evaluate) to find "Open surfaces" or "Invalid faces." Check the box in the property manager
