(English: Checkered Ninja ) is a major Danish animated film franchise created by comedian Anders Matthesen. Based on his 2016 novel, the series follows a young boy named Aske (or Alex in some versions) who receives a possessed ninja doll as a birthday gift. Together, they navigate teenage life while seeking justice for a poor factory worker.
