You can often add or edit a Buy Now price on an active auction if certain conditions are met:

Enter a Start Price and an optional Reserve Price . You will then see an optional Buy Now field. Enter the fixed price at which you are willing to sell the item immediately.
You cannot convert a live "Buy Now Only" listing into an auction (or vice versa); you must relist the item to change the primary format. This creates a listing with only a Buy
When you list an item for sale, you will reach a section for pricing.
