Masturbation is a universal human experience, yet it remains a largely understudied and stigmatized topic, particularly within the context of transgender identity. This paper seeks to explore the intersection of transgender identity and masturbation, examining the ways in which societal expectations, self-perception, and embodiment intersect to shape the masturbatory experiences of transgender individuals. Through a critical analysis of existing literature and original qualitative research, this study aims to contribute to a deeper understanding of the complex relationships between transgender identity, embodiment, and masturbation.
This study employed a qualitative research design, utilizing in-depth interviews with 20 transgender participants to gather data on their experiences of masturbation.
