The story follows Ganesh (Ajith Kumar), a soft-spoken man who moves to Kolkata with his adoptive sister, Thamizh (Lakshmi Menon), to support her education. Working as a cab driver, Ganesh appears to be a peace-loving individual, but he hides a violent past as a former mercenary known as "Vedalam". When a ruthless international human trafficking syndicate led by three brothers targets Thamizh, Ganesh's lethal alter-ego resurfaces to protect her and systematically dismantle the criminal network.
