Traveling in three cars, the lead car—a small Zastava 750 driven by Zlatko Arslanagić —veered into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a truck near Jablanica. Aljoša Buha , the bass player, died instantly at the scene.

Grief-stricken, the remaining three members (, Dražen Žerić "Žera" , and Darko Jelčić ) eventually decided to finish the songs they had been working on before the accident.
